This year’s Parker 425, serving as the BITD season opener, was one for the books! Friend and racing veteran BJ Baldwin brought home a much-deserved win with first-time racer Nic Whetstone next to him on the podium in 2nd!

BJ has been competing for years with our small block engine. He decided to go into the 2022 season with an all new Dougans Big Block and it paid off. BJ took the lead midway through the 400+ mile race. He extended his lead on the last lap, even with the loss of all brakes. Baldwin would be first across the finish line with a total time of 05:58:56. Great to see the #97 back on the box.

Not far behind Baldwin was Nic Whetstone, a rookie to the sport who teamed up with Jax Redline for this race. The duo ran a clean race, trailing in 2nd to the finish. We look forward to seeing Whetstone out here more in the future.
